About your mission...

Hi Team!

Here is an except I think you may find useful - when we think about WHAT  we do and WHY we do it. It comes from a blog I read occasionally, Making Agents Rich, with Darin Persinger... (catchy title, huh?)

This is the transcript - where Darin explains his mission statement -

 As a Persinger, you love real estate. You're passionate about it. My niece, goddaughter, Courtney, tweeted recently, "I'm way too interested in real estate as a 22 year old and I fully blame the Persinger side for it."

Jonathan: Nice. 

Darin: That's because as Persingers, we are passionate about real estate so we're not ashamed to say this is what we care about, okay? So that's our passion. 

Jonathan: Okay. 

Darin: Then we went with what we are obsessed with -- so that to me is like our guiding compass -- and we're obsessed with marketing and storytelling. 

Jonathan: Okay. Marketing and storytelling, your little soldiers. 



Darin: Yup, because when we get a listing and we get to put the photography together, the videos together, the website, we get to use the copy, we get to tell the story about that home, man, I get jazzed about that stuff. I just, I'm obsessed with showcasing that home and making it shine. 

Jonathan: Okay. Passion. Obsession. Is there another piece to this?

Darin: Then our mission. We're finally to our mission. So it's third in our thing. And the simple way to say what our mission is, is referrals. One word. Our mission is referrals. 

 I don't think everyone understands what a referral is so we made it a little wordy and we said our mission is to help achieve your desired real estate outcome and give you such a great experience that you'll recommend us and introduce us to your family, friends, and co-workers. 

Jonathan: That's your mission statement?

Darin: That's our mission: to get referrals. To get introduced and recommended.
